Cornwall Classic Climbs
Thanks for a top day on Saturday, both Brian and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I have an impressive array of bruises, scrapes and aches to show for my efforts.
And for future reference we can report that the Tinners Arms at Zennor is a fine pub with nice food...
All best wishes - Sam 11.5.08 - Bosigran, Cornwall.
Expedition Logistics for Antarctic Expedition 2007
We recently joined a sailing and climbing trip to Antarctica . As we live in Africa and couldn't get easy access to the required gear, we used the services of Ben Bradford Outdoor Training to help us assemble a considerable amount of specialist kit. Ben was excellent in telling us the sort of items we'd need and in sourcing it for us through his UK contacts. He knew what to look for and where to get it, at the right price.
Thanks to Ben we were able to put together 150 kg of climbing gear by remote control and have it air freighted to Argentina, where it met us a couple of months later as we flew in for our expedition. Ben has an eye for a bargain and saved us a small fortune compared with what we'd have spent by doing our own shopping in stores or via E-bay. He was also able to tell us what was essential and what was superfluous or gimmicky, which is always useful when there's so much marketing of new and "indispensable" items in the outdoor stores.

Navigation Improver and Night Navigation intro on Dartmoor, 2007
Thanks for newsletter.
We came to you for the night Nav course prior to doing an adventure race a while ago(Maggie, Phil, Rosie and her friend Ali).
Just wanted to say how useful we found it. First adventure race Rosie and Ali won the female pairs, the second one myself(Maggie) and Rosie and Andy(Rosiet brother) won the mixed teams but also scored better than all the all male teams!
I have to say that the navigation tips have made huge difference to our performance in the races both day and night, we are also all hooked on navigating strange places now and night runs. As you will probably have guessed Rosie has turned out to be the best navigator but we are all much more proficient.
so ...a big thank you Maggie Wilson
Everest Base camp Trek for Adventure Peaks, May 2007
Just to increase your already huge egos a little positive feedback from Hannah Richardson
"Ben (and Nick for first week) were fantastic - very encouraging, informative and good fun. Without Ben's patience & good humor I don't think I would have made base camp. Both Nick & Ben are a huge asset to AP. Thank you to both of them"
Rock Improver Course based in the Lake District 2007
Hi Ben,
Just a quick note to say thanks for being such a good instructor back in early August. I've been doing loads of leading since mostly around the VS 80Ft single pitch range in the Wye Valley. Looking to start doing HVS next summer, I want to get more experience and fitness i.e. It can still get scary up there, even on a VS. I may be down in Cornwall next summer as that's where some of my family is based, so I might be interested in some tuition around Sennen.
Cheers Chris
Three day Classic Climbs Course in Cornwall. Bosigran, Chair Ladder and Sennan. 2007
Hi Ben,
Just to say thank you very much for a fantastic 3 days of climbing - the best climbing I've experienced yet. I think I can speak for Freddie as well when I say that the range and level of climbs was very well judged and suited our abilities perfectly.
I've been meaning to send you a few shots of yourself but have to sort through the photos. I will follow up with these in a few weeks.
Thanks again and best wishes with the business.
Kind Regards, Carol
