Mike and Ben Bradford will be organizing and leading an expedition to Nepal in October 2008.

This is an expedition open to the parents, ex-pupils and friends of Uffculme School.

Under 18's have to be directly supervised by their parents for the duration of the expedition.

Himalayan Kingdom

Nepal is one of the most inspiring and diverse Himalayan countries you could imagine. Home to the highest mountain on Earth, Everest (8848m), as well as hundreds of other towering peaks, it is perhaps one of the most accessible high mountain systems in the world.

Nepalese Culture

That is to say nothing about the culture and people which populate this Himalayan Kingdom. Closed to the west for many years the Nepalese have embraced Tourism as their most important export and treat all visitors with kindness and respect which is hard to find anywhere else.

Treks and Expeditions for all abilities

Ben Bradford runs several different Expeditions to Nepal . These trips draw on experience to provide an ideal itinerary and leadership package to suit a range of aspirations and abilities from someone who is new to trekking, an experienced walker wanting a solid introduction to high altitude trekking or winter climbers progressing onto high peaks in the greater ranges.

Safety is our priority with all our activities at home and abroad and our expeditions are designed with important acclimatization days and spare days in case of bad weather or acclimatization. The British leader who accompanies every trip ensures the well being of all clients and is always on hand to provide advice. We employ local guides who know our expedition route intimately and look after our local porters, ensuring they are treated fairly and properly.
